I’ll Tell You Where It Came From

Black..the absence of light…light as you know it. Removed from this world eons ago, light in the known form was replaced by blackness. A different black. A world filled not with pitch black but a true black… a darkness that filled the darkness.

As time passed a new light….not light as you know it, but an entity that was like a breath of air that was a different temperature than the surrounding environment, came into the world…MY world.

The entity was not fast or slow. It made no sound. The presence of this entity, this new light, was not recognized by the darkness…but I felt it. It had no form but I could touch it….it had no heat but it warmed ME…it was looking for a place to go…so I made it MINE.

I had been the only being in this world of black. I appeared just before all the light….light as you know it…vanished. I vaguely remember the light…light as you know it, but this was not the same. This entity was more than light..it had life. It was like light but clearer. It knew what it was.

It is a strange irony that this entity could be felt by ME but not the blackness. Perhaps this is a sign that now, after eons with no light, light as you know it, the new entity, this new light would bring ME back to the life I knew before the darkness….the only life I thought I would ever know.

My world of black….this world…..LiteWorld…a strange name for a world with no light, light as you know it. It didn’t make any sense.

Perhaps this new entity was a new form of light…a different way of piercing the darkness. Maybe this world was waiting for this new form when it extinguished the light, light as you know it. Maybe this was the new…..Lite…the answer to the name LiteWorld and the reason for my existence.
