54. Dancing With The J

The two packs of Elite followed ME out of the courtyard onto the dirt road in the direction that would take us to the designated meeting location with the other three packs. There was a full moon, so navigating the terrain was fairly easy and all of us were reflective so there was little concern on being spotted. The human horse soldiers had entered the courtyard area and building  just moments after our departure, I could only imagine the conversation between the spiritual guides and the soldiers.

The road leading out of this small group of buildings was anything but straight and the terrain on either side was almost vertical to the road itself, so taking a shorter path off the road to the meeting place was not an option. While we could move faster on the road, not being familiar with this area made me more cautious. As we rounded one long bend in the road I could make out lights up ahead….more buildings!

I cautioned the Elite to avoid any humans and just keep moving.  As we approached the outer edge of the buildings I saw no movement and no animals…that was a relief. There were perhaps ten low buildings, equally distributed on either side of the road. The windows and doors were all opened….and no presence of any humans…. Interesting. As I walked past the first open building Jolie contacted ME….”Can we stop here for a little while?” I looked back at the end of Stan’s pack and saw the red circle. “We can stop for a short time, but we can’t keep the other packs waiting too long…do you want to stop to play or rest?”  I knew she was aware of MY thoughts. “Both,” she said. I had the Elite check out all the buildings to make sure it was safe to take a short break. The buildings were all empty. I told the Elite to stop here for a while remove the reflective mode for now, but stay ready.

Jolie may have shared the presence of the Lite with ME, but that is where the similarity between us stopped. She was a child at heart. A very smart child, but a child none the less. Her unusual or “goofy” nature, as Stan called it, made her the brunt of a lot of jokes by the other Elite. But she got more laughs from her “dancing” style than from anything else she did.

I looked around at the Elite and saw them standing in sort of a circle looking and pointing at something in the center. Jolie was standing there with her cape open. She was bending her knees and moving up and down, slowly. Then something started to form on the Lite Papr on her cape…it looked like some form of cryptic writing. “Those are musical notes.” As I was about to find out the Lite was aware of what Jolie was about to do.

Some how, some way Jolie was playing what Stan would refer to later on as music from her cape. She would play a series of notes and then wait for a moment. She would play the notes, dance around and then look at the Elite as if they were supposed to respond. Stan and some of the Elite started to respond in cadence with Jolie. She would start with the notes, they would follow with a harmonic to mimic the notes. The Elite then followed Jolie’s dance steps and soon there were more Elite joining in. Notes, harmonic, dance, notes, on and on until all the Elite were in lock step with Jolie’s dancing. It was an interesting sight. The little Elite with the other Lite was destined to do something very special.
