48. Test For Echo

Even though Stan was happy with Jolie’s new-found capabilities, I sensed that the other Elite were not as hero stricken. There seemed to be some tension between the other Elite and Jolie. Perhaps it was the red circle of Lite only she and I carried or her “silent killing” capabilities. In either case,I had more important issues to deal with. The humans would be back at any moment and we needed to keep moving, using our reflective abilities as well as the long, narrow streets and alleys that seemed to be a standard design in Mecca to hide us.

My first priority was to locate the spiritual guides who were supposed to be hiding somewhere in this holy city. The Lite began to comment; “Once we locate the guides we will have to convince them to accept the “new spiritual truths” that were not passed down as part of the original Qur’an. However, seeing our Elite and YOU should make them take notice.” I understood. This was the first of two final steps in our journey. “What exactly will you tell the guides when we…..if we find them,” I asked?  The Lite took a few moments then said, “They may not want to accept it, but this is what they need to know…..”

“The spiritual teachings of Mohammed  and Jesus today, using the Qur’an  and Bible as their basis, are revisionist projections. They are in essence like an echo. Starting in one spot and continuing on with diminishing volume and a slightly different sound.  The teachings of “spiritual belief” and accepting faith as the cornerstone of life was always the premise. Owning nothing other than your soul was its basic tenet. But over time that premise, through greed, search for power, ignorance and insecurity, evolved into demagogic infusion.

I, the Lite, was present when the idea of using the “one man -one faith” process was born. There were no spiritual deities,  just a few enlightened men who wanted to develop a utilitarian philosophy to give people faith in oneself. Nothing more…nothing less.  Many people understood the idea and took solace in its simplicity. Others  took advantage of the uneducated and poor and used unwarranted fear and guilt to form  “religious” organizations corrupting the entire idea of the “one man-one faith” ideal. Since that time man has used “faith”…a tainted faith…to gain power, control and to kill. I, the Lite, am here to alter your perception of what you believe to be the truth.”

It seemed to ME this entire planet of humans embraces, in one form or another, an invisible being or light as one who controls or can control their destiny regardless of their own initiatives and capabilities. It was a strange dichotomy. How could they believe in something that was not there? Something they couldn’t see? I looked down at MY form and realized in MY current reflective state no one could see ME. Yet I could change their lives….”Lite for life, light to Lite…tell MY story to the night.”
