Stan’s comment about not hurting or killing any more humans was shared by the rest of MY Elite. However, the process of forcing the Lite’s Luminescence on the humans was a bad play no matter how you looked at it. The humans had recovered, at least those still alive after the Lite Ring armageddon, and were getting some reinforcements from areas outside the blast ring. How Jolie planned on getting this planet of angry humans to talk to her let alone consider her Lite’s proposal was beyond reason….unless she and her Lite had some other plan.
I ordered all the Elite to assemble at MY location. The five packs came with all their leaders lined up in front, including Jolie who was standing next to ME. Evidently she decided that Stan was no longer the leader of her pack. Stan, who was standing in front of ME, was again the first to comment on the situation. “There seem to be few options left to us, boss. I may not be the smartest Elite in this group but I do know the humans are hell bent on election to remove us from this planet. Unless we show them that there is something more dangerous to them than us…we have no chance of saving them. The little one and her Lite …well.. at least her Lite is not concerned about the final fate of the people on earth. It’s Luminescence or nothing. At least that is the way I see it.”
Stan was right about one thing, the humans needed to fear someone or something else more than us. Something that would force them to select the lessor of two evils. But what? Fighting the humans would take away any opportunity we would have to get them to listen to us. Beating them into submission was possible, maybe, but what would that prove? Perhaps going back to the United States would be a wiser move. After all we didn’t kill many of those humans and MY entire Elite is made up from that human population. They may be more willing to listen to us….maybe.
I began to think about how this entire journey started. LiteWorld was MY home for so long and then the Lite came and now I am here. The Lite had the plan…knew the reasons…could be the one to force these humans to save themselves. But he was not here. ……he was not here….Yes! He was not here, but maybe he was back there ….back in LiteWorld. I knew what I had to do.
At this point it was useless to attempt to keep any thoughts from Jolie. It just didn’t matter. My last words to the Elite before I departed for LiteWorld could be the last forever. I decided to use the LitePapr to explain MY plan. I stood in front of the five packs, opened up MY cape and gave them one short line of text. “I am going back to MY world…our world of black… to find the Lite.”
